Chris Kerslake founded XModus in 2000 after working for Revenue Canada, Canada Safeway, Chevron Canada and several software start-up companies in Vancouver. In 2015 after volunteering at his local elementary school, including two years as the Chairperson for the Bayview Parent Advisor Council (PAC), he decided to shift his focus from working on school issues to working with students directly. Helen has been teaching creative drama, writing and directing plays for children at various elementary schools for over 10 years. She has an extensive background in theatre, radio and television in her native Ireland, and in Canada - being a founding member of Near- Sighted Flamenco Dancers and Birdz Of A Feather sketch comedy troupes. She has published short stories, poetry and children's books. She has an invisible friend called Stinky Pete. Her classes have an emphasis on creativity, inclusion, team-building and, most importantly, having fun.
Lois is a certified piano teacher of the Royal Conservatory of Music with over 38 years of experience. It gives her great pleasure as a pianist to share my passion for the different genres of music to the students that she instructs. Lois teaches beginners to advanced students as well as adults.
Piano lessons are customized to each student’s specific goals and are built from simple concepts gradually on up to advanced concepts with theory and technique included. Lois also performs with a group of professional pianists at Senior Care Homes across the lower mainland.

Jeff has been actively skateboarding and participating in skateboard culture for over 30 years and has been working for the Vancouver Parks Board for the last 13 years, as a youth worker whose focus has been primarily on skateboard related events, camps, contests, lessons and clinics.
Jeff currently serves as the President of the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition, a non-profit organization who's mission is; to act as an entity that is accessible to all skateboarders, promoting unity throughout Vancouver’s diverse skateboard scene and taking a proactive role in creating, advocating and maintaining safe, fun environments that are open and inclusive to anyone wishing to use them.
When Jeff is not working with the Parks Board and running to meetings to represent The Vancouver Skateboard Coalition he can be found helping to run Canada’s Oldest skateboard company, Skull Skates and Canada’s Oldest Skateboard Shop, PD’s Hot Shop.

She currently works as the Program Coordinator at JKC Southlands! Siobhan is very excited to apply her formal art training to Bling Ring this Winter term!
Nate Hyde has worked with children and youth for over 10 years, and is currently working towards getting his teaching degree. A strong believer in developing life skills and resiliency in youth and children, Nate has done leadership workshops all over the province. A big fan of all things “nerdy”, Nate can talk about movies, dungeons and dragons, anime, comics, and video game until the cows come home.
